DO should not DO:
Posted April 30th, 2008 by gaines@lifesci....
Minimal imposition of review criteria for content.
Not creating new content (but we are encouraging others to create new content and we ID gaps to encourage content development)
Not advocating but facilitating advocacy
Not creating giant infrastructure/bureaucracy
Not going to build/launch without a solid definition of long term goals and sustainable funding models.
Not going to wrestle with copyright issues
Not going to do things that are being done by Experts already, e.g.:
Data collection and new research
Defining terms, data formats, ...
Not defining communities (but obviously targeting some as key audiences - others will grow on their own)
